Fraud is a criminal act in which an individual, group or businesses act, omit or conceal information with the intent to deceive the Lincoln Housing Authority. Tenants and applicants, who make false statements regarding their income, family size or alter official documents, are committing fraud. Employees who engage in bribery, embezzlement, or who alter, forge or destroy records are also committing fraud.
It is very important to report fraud so those who commit this fraud can be prosecuted. The information that you forward to the Executive Director is in strict confidence and will be fully investigated.
